I came across an article about this movie, and decided to look at the trailer, and having Oprah Winfrey as a producer, im sure it will be an instant hit, also last week at the Toronto International Film Festival "Precious" wont the Audience award, past winners include "Slumdog Millionaire," "American Beauty," "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and "Amélie."
So I come to the conclusion that perphaps "Precious" will be a contender in the best Picture this coming year

i remember seeing this trailer so long ago and thinking it was amazing. it made me cry. cant wait to see it.
